As an outdoor venue without fixed seating, we offer flexible accommodations to meet the needs of individuals with accessibility needs.

Most concerts at The Tailgate are 18+, but age requirements vary depending on the event. Please refer to the specific event page on our 'Calendar' for age details.
For all-ages shows, all ages need a ticket to enter.
Alcohol is sold only to guests 21 years of age and older, with proper identification. The termination of alcohol sales will be determined on an event-by-event basis.
Alcohol and all drinks purchased at The Tailgate must be consumed within the premises. All patrons exiting the building must dispose of any unconsumed liquid before leaving the premises.
All guests should consume alcohol responsibly. Any guest who appears intoxicated may be denied entry or ejected. Any person under the age of 21, who is in possession of alcoholic beverages, regardless of how they obtained the beverages, is subject to ejection without refund and may face legal consequences.
Animals are not permitted at The Tailgate, with the exception of trained service animals. If you have further questions regarding animals in the venue, please contact us at (512) 507-5018.
There is no backstage access unless provided by the artist management. Passes are usually only provided by artist management or fan clubs to select recipients. The Tailgate personnel cannot provide any artist tour information.
The Tailgate enforces a CLEAR BAG POLICY. All bags are subject to search upon entry.
The Tailgate’s official ticketing provider is TIXR.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door on event days. Please note that The Tailgate does not operate a physical box office for in-person purchases on non-event days.

Rescheduled Shows: For events that have been rescheduled, ticket holders will have a 30-day window from the announcement of the new show date. If a customer chooses not to receive a refund, their tickets will be valid for the new date.

Postponed Shows: For postponed events, ticket holders can request a refund 30 days after the rescheduled date is publicly announced. All TIXR ticket buyers will receive an email once the rescheduled date is announced. If customers choose not to receive a refund, their tickets will be valid for the new date.

Canceled Shows: In the rare case an event is canceled, ticket holders for that event will automatically receive a refund for their order. This refund could take up to 30 days from the show's cancellation date.
**Please note this is a general policy. Each event will be different, and all The Tailgate (TIXR) customers will be notified via email of the policy pertaining to that event. **
**For customers who purchased tickets through a resale platform or distribution partner, the customer will need to seek a refund from the original resale platform or distribution partner.

Flash photography, cameras with a detachable lens, and video cameras are not permitted during ticketed events. This includes but is not limited to GoPros, tripods, and camera stands of any size or dimension (including selfie-sticks), which are not permitted inside the venue.
Taking pictures with cell phones (without flash) is often allowed during an event, based on artists’ preferences. Inquiries on photo policy can be made on arrival at the event on the day of the show to clarify the photo policy for that day’s show.
Patrons unable to comply with these policies may be asked to leave the building without a refund or exchange.
*Exception will only be made for working media with approved credentials and prior approval. Please see the “Media Credential / Photographer Request” for specifics.
The Tailgate encourages the use of cell phones as a mobile ticket.
Mobile phones are permitted for most events, provided their use does not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the event.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted at The Tailgate bars. This may vary from the food truck stand(s), which are independently operated. (Payment options may vary.)

The doors usually open at 6 PM for concerts at The Tailgate. Open times vary per event. Event times will be listed on the Know Before You Go social posts on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/thetailgatemidland/).
For the safety of our guests and visitors, the operation of drones, unmanned aircraft, and remote-controlled aircraft on The Tailgate property is strictly prohibited without the advance written consent of management. Violators may be subject to civil and criminal penalties.
The main drop-off and pick-up location for guests is located at the front of our building, facing N Big Spring St.
In the event of an emergency where evacuation of the premises is necessary, you will be informed via public address announcement. Please remain calm and walk towards the nearest exit. Follow posted signs, staff instructions, and listen for announcements for specific information.

Guests can enjoy food options from on-site food trucks. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (Coca-Cola products, Red Bull) and bottled water are available at the bars located at The Tailgate.
The variety of beverages varies from event to event and will feature domestic and imported beers, and liquor.
The distribution of promotional items, samples, handbills, flyers, pamphlets, printed materials, as well as the solicitation of signatures, is not permitted on The Tailgate property.

Found items will be held by staff members on duty during events. Please email kaylina@thetailgatemidland.com to inquire about lost and found. Unclaimed items after 30 days are discarded or destroyed.
For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, masks that cover a person's full face/head may not be worn while in attendance at any Tailgate event.
Medical masks are permitted.
To inquire about media credentials or a photo pass for a show, please contact ariel@thetailgatemidland.com five (5) business days prior to the event or earlier. The Tailgate staff will share your request with the event promoter.
If an artist meet-and-greet is available at a concert, it will be sold as a ticket through our ticketing platform, TIXR.

Merchandise and novelty items are often available for purchase at events, typically located at the stand to the right of the stage. Availability and selection may vary depending on the event.
Please note: Merchandise vendors operate independently, and The Tailgate is not responsible for pricing, transactions, or the quality of items sold.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed at The Tailgate.
Guests can enjoy a variety of options available on-site, including beer, liquor, soft drinks, and water from our full-service bars, as well as a selection of local food trucks during each event.
Complimentary parking is available for guests attending events at The Tailgate.
Please use the entrance located on N Big Spring Street to access the parking lot.

The Tailgate does not allow re-entry for concerts.
However, re-entry policies vary depending on the event. Know Before You Go information will be posted on our social media 1-2 days before the event.
Portable restrooms are available on the north side of the venue, near the food truck area.
VIP restroom facilities are located on the south side of the premises and are accessible to VIP ticket holders only.

Thanks to our partner Michelob Ultra, Tailgate concert attendees can receive discounted Uber rides from the show they are attending.
Uber discount codes will be sent in the ‘Know Before You Go’ email to ticket purchasers 1-2 days before the concert, posted on our Instagram story the day of the show, and displayed as a QR code on bar TV screens at the venue.
For concerts, General Admission tickets are standing-room only and do not include seating. However, a limited number of picnic tables are available near the entrance at the back of the venue and are open to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
For a reserved seating experience, we recommend purchasing a VIP Table, which includes table service. VIP Tables are available for each event through our official ticketing provider, TIXR.
The Tailgate staffs both bouncers and police officers to provide security before, during, and after events. Depending on the current Homeland Security National Threat Advisory, The Tailgate will base event security upon that level, along with the performer's security requirements.
Smoking is permitted only on concrete and gravel areas.
For safety, smoking is strictly prohibited on all turf surfaces.

TIXR is the only authorized ticket-selling agent of The Tailgate. The Tailgate is not responsible for the authenticity of tickets obtained from any other source. The Tailgate will not honor counterfeit or invalid tickets.
There are no refunds or exchanges of tickets purchased. If an event is canceled and rescheduled, patrons will receive the new performance information through the email address provided at the point of sale. If a performance is canceled and is not rescheduled, TIXR will issue a full refund.
VIP Tables and Couches are available for purchase through Tixr and include dedicated table service throughout the event.

A VIP Standing Ticket grants access to an elevated viewing area, along with the private VIP bar and VIP restrooms.
If your tickets are being held at Will Call, they can be picked up at the main entrance on the day of the event. Please have a valid photo ID that matches the name on the order to claim your tickets.
